Artisan's Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL) means learning from experience referring to work experience, in-service training, self-study, or life experience, for example if you have developed skills and knowledge through previous work experience in cooking organisations such as restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops.
The ARPL qualification provides a pathway for you to comply with the criteria to apply for your QCTO Chef external summative assessment at an external assessment centre or trade centre.
In order to qualify for the QCTO Chef external summative assessment, you must have proof of successful completion of the subjects and modules or alternative programmes where applicable and a copy of a completed and signed Statement of Work Experience.
